The hidden pyramid.

Baruntse is a symmetrical snow pyramid wedged between the Barun and Hunku glacier systems, climbed by relatively few parties each season.

Its south-east ridge is a classic: steep snow flutings, a knife-edge upper section and a summit that looks directly across at Lhotse's south face.
